John is an Australia-based business professional with over 28 years of experience in the Asian Data Center industry, specializing in Engineering Infrastructure Consultancy, Design, Operations, Certification, and Training. He has worked extensively across multiple countries, including Australia, Bangladesh, India, Indonesia, Malaysia, Myanmar, New Zealand, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Singapore, Vietnam, Taiwan, Japan, the US, and the UK, collaborating with global clients in the Hyperscale, Colocation, Telecommunications, and Financial Services sectors.
John’s most recent role was as Managing Director, South Asia for Uptime Institute. Previously, he held leadership positions as Technical Director for AECOM Singapore, Senior Associate for Arup (Australia) Ltd, and Executive Director for DSCO in Hong Kong. In 2019, John earned an Advanced Professional Diploma after completing the globally recognized Financial Times Non-Executive Director Program. He currently serves as a Datacenter Education Specialist with DCPro (Singapore).
